Are these "Odd" because you have never seen them?  Or, are they "Odd" because they come from other countries and are hard to come by?

Play-sets for Ponies?  Of course, where would they learn, eat, sleep, play, and get beautified??

This is a 1984 My Little Pony Pinwheel

made in Fresno California.  It is 10 1/2

inches wide and 10 1/2 inches tall.

These items are very rarely seen.  There is a 1983 cassette player with Cotton Candy Pony, and a 1985 Pony Bubble Gum machine with Ponies Firefly and Baby Firefly on top.  Next we have 1985 View-Master that has 3-D movie reels.

Last we have a Musical TV type item.  This oddity has no year and is speculated to come from the UK/Euro region.  It was made by MyKids Toy MFG Company.

These Ponies are Foreign Ponies.  The two in back have multi-colored striped hair and come from the UK.  The one with the sailboat is Daddy Sunbright and although he is a male pony, Hasbro did not make him with the Clydesdale feet.  The other is Mommy Sunbright.  There are three different "family" sets that have this beautiful hair, including baby ponies.  They are hard to come by and are quite expensive.  The Pony on the right bottom, Baby Licorice, and the Pony on the left bottom, Baby Candy, are also UK Baby Ponies.  These are two of three "Sweetie" Baby Candy Ponies, the other is a yellow baby with lollipops all over her and named, Baby Lollipop--of course.  The two in the middle came with a purchase of a Pony Comic and they come from Germany only and are made of a harder PVC type material, they say Bully Germany on them.

This is a My Little Pony School House.  It was only available in the UK/Euro market.  This is the school that the Seven MLP Tales Ponies were always going to school at.  This set came with many accessories such as: a globe, desks, xylophone with two mallets, the working school bell with pull rope, a working writing board, even the clock that the pony Patch is always shooting with her peashooter.  It also came with smaller items like; pencils, a jump rope, rulers, two books, math & science.  In Germany, the School is called  Pony Schule and is different colors.

Here we have a My Little Pony Kitchen.  This item was also only available in the UK/Euro market.  It came with all the makings of a real kitchen.  It came with plates, a rolling pin, cookie cutters, bowls, cups, saucers, pans, and even a stove and sink.

In the US, we have almost exact replica's except depicting different sets and they are different colors.  One is a blue one called Beauty Parlor, one is purple called Brush Me Beautiful Boutique. One is also a different shade of blue and is called the Grooming Parlour--it is from the UK Region and that is why the spelling of "Parlour" is different from our spelling.

There are many other sets, both from the US and Foreign countries.  One pony play-set is the Waterfall that has a shower that really works and it came with a pony named Sprinkles and a duck named Duck Soup.  In the UK/Euro region, this Waterfall play-set is different colored and came with a beautiful pony named Cascade and the same duck.  Of course the ponies had to have stables . . . there were three different types and were also relatively large play-sets and each one could be opened up so you could put the ponies inside for play.  These sets were the Show Stable, Megan's Place, and Home Sweet Home.  Another play-set is the Baby Bonnet Dance School, this set came with many interesting little characters.  It came with yellow and pink plastic swans, bunnies, bees, and little suitcases.  Then we have the Poof n' Puff Perfume Puff Palace that came with lots of make up and pretty clips and boas for you and your ponies-this set was also issued in the UK/Euro market by the name of Perfume Puff Palace. We also have a very large set where the ponies could go and get their hair done, it was called the Pony Perm Shoppe.  This set had make up, ribbons, barrettes, and even shampoo for the working water nozzle that you could use to wash the ponies hair.  This item was also made with a different name in the UK/Euro region called the Crimp n' Curl Hair Salon.  Next we have the yummy Satin Slipper Sweet Ice Cream Shoppe.  This set came with the pony named Scoops and many ice cream items, tables, chairs, etc.  This set and Scoops were featured in the MLP cartoon episode called "The Ice Cream Wars".  Wow, a Bed & Crib set that even has a MOMMY pony that is pregnant and when you move a lever under her tummy, two twin, tiny babies come out.  You had to buy her separate form the set and this set is a UK exclusive.  Another play-set is the large Dream Castle that was mentioned earlier that came with Queen Majesty and her dragon named Spike and many, many accessories.  There are two versions of this set--the other came out in a later year and is a different color and is highly sought after.  There is also a large play-set made for the baby ponies called the Lullabye Nursery.  The biggest play-set the ponies had is the famous Paradise Estate set that was in the My Little Pony movie.  Once this set is put together, it is almost a 4 foot by 4 foot play-set and it came with over 90 play pieces.  These sets and all the sets came with many many pieces and it is somewhat hard to get complete sets.
